Terms of use

The medical information on this site is general education. It describes what symptoms commonly mean and when they are worth having examined. It is not a diagnosis, it is not a treatment plan, and it cannot account for anything specific about you.

Reading this site, submitting a request through it, or speaking with the practice by phone does not by itself create a physician-patient relationship. That relationship begins when Dr. Jimenez accepts you as a patient and evaluates you.

Do not delay seeking care, and do not stop or change treatment you are already having, because of something you read here.

This website is not monitored around the clock, and neither is the request form. Do not use either to report an emergency.

If you are having severe or worsening symptoms — new weakness, numbness that is spreading, difficulty walking, loss of bladder or bowel control, severe headache, chest pain or difficulty breathing — call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

We answer within 24 hours, and if you want a phone conversation with Dr. Jimenez it happens in that window. That’s how the practice runs and what we plan for. On an unusually busy week it can take a day or two longer — if that happens we’ll tell you rather than leave you wondering. An in-person appointment is separate: it often follows quickly, sometimes the next day, but that depends on the office and the schedule, so we won’t name a specific day before we’ve spoken.

Nothing on this site is a guarantee of a response time or of an appointment date. The 24-hour figure describes how the practice operates, not a term you are being offered. Where the rest of the site says “within 24 hours”, this clause is what it means.

All three offices see patients by appointment. Nobody can be seen without one.

The consultation costs nothing. There is no charge for it, no obligation, and nothing to pay or arrange beforehand.

It is a phone call — normally five to ten minutes, longer if it needs to be. Dr. Jimenez asks what happened and what you are feeling, answers what can be answered over the phone, and says whether this is something the practice can help with. Some questions are better answered after an examination, and he will say so rather than guess.

It is not an appointment, an examination, or a diagnosis, and by itself it does not create a physician-patient relationship — the first clause above is the one that governs that. It is the conversation in which both sides work out whether being seen here makes sense for you. Either of you can conclude that it does not, and if this isn’t the right practice for your injury we will say so and, where we can, point you somewhere better.

The request form on this site is the practice’s own. What you send goes from your browser directly to the practice’s own environment with a cloud provider, which holds it under a Business Associate Agreement; it is not handed to any other company. Submitting one does not guarantee that the practice can take you on as a patient.

We normally send a short confirmation to the email address you give, so that you know the request arrived. If one does not reach you, the request still arrived. It is an acknowledgement and nothing more: it is not medical advice, not an appointment, and not an acceptance of you as a patient. It carries nothing you sent, because ordinary email is not a protected channel.

We work to keep this site accurate and current, including addresses, hours and the description of how payment works. Details change, and medical understanding changes. If anything here matters to a decision you are making, confirm it with the office rather than relying on the page.

This site links to Google Maps for directions. Google Maps is operated by another company under its own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for its content.

If any part of these terms turns out not to be enforceable, that part is treated as removed and the rest continues to apply. If we do not insist on something here on one occasion, that is not a decision to give it up.

These terms, together with our privacy policy →, cover your use of this website. They do not govern your care. Once you are a patient, your care is governed by law, by professional obligation, and by what you and the practice agree — not by a website notice.

These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means the current version applies.
